Marina Bowling Club, Dawlish

We are a friendly lawn bowls club located in Dawlish, South Devon. Active in local leagues, we also provide friendly and social bowling that, along with our Youth Academy, means we offer bowling for all ages and abilities.

Established in 1940 as a Ladies club, Marina Bowling Club became a mixed club the following year. Currently there are over 90 members and new members are always welcome.  

We have a high quality green of six rinks and our greenkeepers have been steadily improving the green over recent years. It is now at a standard that enables us to host County matches.

The club has several teams competing in local leagues. The men play in the Mid Devon League, the South Devon Over 55s Triples and the Exeter Over 60s leagues. The ladies have two teams in the South Devon Ladies Bowls League. We also play many friendly games with local clubs and touring clubs from around the country.

Visitors are always welcome to play for a nominal green fee.

If you are planning to visit us, we are situated just outside Dawlish town centre, close to the leisure centre on Sandy Lane. There is a large, moderately priced, pay and display car & coach park adjacent to the club. Please see the map below for more details.
